Jeff Kuykendall is grew up on a soybean farm in east central Kansas and now lives in central Arkansas where he seems quite content with his life.
We asked him how he ended up in Little Rock.
My husband and I moved to Little Rock last July (2005) so that he could enter the first class of the Clinton School of Public Service, Jeff explained. And now he lives in west Little Rock.
Jeff is a massage therapist and was featured recently on a news story Channel 4 did about this site and the gay spending dollar.
We asked him to talk about some of the work he has done for the GLBT community.
I have been a volunteer at the Colorado AIDS Project, the Topeka AIDS Project, the Douglas County Aids Project and have participated in many rallies at the Kansas state house, Jeff said.
What are your thoughts on coming out, advice to others, etc.?
It's never easy for anyone. But believe in your own knowledge of yourself, the way to find yourself is to think for yourself.
